What You'll Need

  • Access to Teachable Machine
  • A curious kid ready to explore!

    One fun AI problem solving activity is training a machine to recognize your dog's face using Google’s Teachable Machine. Kids learn how AI sorts information, and how to troubleshoot and refine predictions.

    Dive In

  • Go to Teachable Machine and start a new image project.
  • Create two categories: “My Dog” and “Not My Dog.”
  • Upload dog photos to the correct category.
  • Add random non-dog images in the second category.
  • Train the model and test it with new photos.
  • Adjust until accuracy improves — celebrate small wins!
