Heads up

ChatGPT and Gemini personal accounts are 13+, and Kling allows 13 and up only through a parent. AI tools may decline to make realistic images of children from photos, and that's on purpose. 1. Draw the hero. Your kid invents a hero and draws them: costume, colors, a special power. Snap a photo of the drawing. The same hero can star in an AI storybook adventure later.
2. Pick three things for the box. Let your kid choose. Our favorites so far: a rainbow abacus, a jar of neon green slime and a donut with pink sprinkles.
3. Make the action figure. Upload the drawing to ChatGPT or Gemini with this prompt: "Turn the hero in this drawing into a 3D action figure inside a vibrant collector's box. Keep the colors and details from the drawing. Inside the box, include a rainbow abacus, a jar of neon green slime and a donut with pink sprinkles. Glossy, high-quality plastic, realistic toy photo."
4. Fix one thing at a time. Wrong cape color? Ask for just that change. Newer image tools edit the part you point at and leave the rest alone, so your kid can art-direct like a real toy designer.
5. Make the commercial (the "wow" factor). Upload the final toy image to Kling and try: "Cinematic camera zoom into the toy box. The slime jiggles and the abacus beads slide slowly." Our stuffed-animal dance concert uses the same Kling trick on real toys.

Why do this? It turns a kid's drawing into a "real" product, which feels much more magical to a child, and the idea stays theirs.

Parent tip

Put the drawing and the finished toy side by side and ask: what did the AI keep, and what did it change? Your child is the creative director here, choosing the items in the box and the camera move for the commercial. For a longer shoot, let them direct a four-scene unicorn vlog.
